The Local Alliance Partnership is a Community Interest Company, which is a not-for-profit concern. There are currently four unpaid directors, all local residents. We want to secure the lease on the Community Hub that will be built on the New Monks Park housing estate, to ensure that it is run by the community, for the community. That is our primary focus.

In addition we will encourage cooperation & sharing of resources and skills amongst other local groups.

The home page on this website currently shows a schematic of the Community Hub that will be developed along with two other blocks. This development is now due to start next January. We are involved in talks between Cala Homes & the local Council with the intention of securing the lease on the facility.

If you would like to be receive an occasional update about this please fill in your details. We have set up a Whatsapp group for broadcasting only (replies are inhibited) so that it does not become a source of continual notification "pings" as is so often the case.
