Family Fun Day plans  coming together

Meet Gloria: Sussex Scoops lovingly restored vintage 1973 Bedford Ice-cream van.  She will be here with her lovely owners, Steve & Dan, distributing 200 free ice-creams from 10 - 12, (courtesy of Cala Homes)

Also, barring emergency call-outs, Lancing Fire Brigade will be adding a splash of colour with their shiny Scania Fire engine (it's a clean machine!).

Adur Petanque club are bringing some resources for people to try their hand at this activity of skill & judgement.  This will be at the far end of the field.  And JB from the Lancing Family Centre will be here with a team & some activities.  

Crafts, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Hook-a-duck are just a few of the activities on offer, along with local youngsters to try to Beat the Goalie!

There will be sandwiches, cakes, fizzy pop & squash, then the fun begins with the Races:

    Egg & spoon race, 3-legged race & sack race,  Maybe even a gut-busting Tug-o-War!! May the best street's team win.

There will be visits from  Chace, Bluey & Dora the Troll during the morning so look out!

10.00 - Event start

                        Sussex Scoops free ice creams 10.00-12.00 (till they run out)

12.00-14.00 - Serve lunch
                        Sandwiches, Indian snacks, cakes & drinks  (till they run out)                        
 
10.15-13.45 - Retro Games
                        Sack race
                        Egg & spoon
                        Bean bag relay
                        3 Legged race

If the Fire Brigade do not get called away there may be an opportunity for
local blokes to challenge them to a Tug of War - free Yorkie bar for all contestants!
